Artist Statement |
As a visual storyteller, I know that images are often more powerful
and open to more interpretation than words. It is this inherent ambiguity
that is of special interest to me, and that takes precedence throughout
much of my work in the form of subtle narratives. I draw influence from
such artists as Walt Disney, Osamu Tezuka, and Edward Gorey,
as well as from the narratives of mythology, folklore, and fairy tales.

Work Experience |
- Illustrator (2010-2011):
"Peter Daniel" children's picture book series, written by Allen Morford.
Painted sixteen full-color watercolor pieces to match the author's poem.
Book now available from Amazon.com and CreateSpace.
- Freelance Artist, 2006-Present.
Created numerous commissioned works and illustrations in watercolor
and digital, working in both full color and black and white.
